An independent news network — owned by no one but the people who run it.
BeforeNews Media Group exists for a simple reason: the readers deserve reporting they can trace, and the people with something to announce deserve a way onto the record that an editor will actually respect.

We started the way most newsrooms do — with a beat and a refusal to print what we couldn't stand behind. As the network grew, so did the demand from outside it: companies, funds and founders who had real news but no credible way to get it reported. So we built one.
Today the group runs 8 titles, each with its own desk and byline, all answering to a single verification standard. Around them sits a distribution operation that treats a client's announcement the way it treats its own copy: sourced, datelined, and built to be quoted. We don't sell reach for its own sake. We sell coverage that holds up.
Independence is the whole point. We aren't owned by an advertiser, a fund or a platform, which means the only thing deciding what runs is whether it's true and whether it matters. That's a harder business to run. It's also the only one worth running.
"Distribution without standards is just noise. We built the standards first, then the distribution. That order is the entire difference."
